Crystals & The Cosmic Current

Crystals maintain the balance of the electro-magnetic-field: the balance between the electrical energies surrounding the earth and the magnetic energies between the poles. This same spiraling electrical field and magnetic polarity exist within each atom and each sub-atomic particle, within each cell and organ, within each living and non-living thing and within the human aura.

In 1973, three Russians hypothesized a matrix of cosmic energy. They traced a latticework pattern of electromagnetic energy that geometrically subdivided the earth’s face into a combination of two shapes – an icosahedron and a dodecahedron (shapes found naturally in crystal formations). The positioning of these lines explains various natural phenomena such as high and low barometric pressure and magnetic deviations as well as migration routes. When envisioned as a lattice over the earth’s surface, the icosa-dodecahedron grid was found to correspond with the birthplaces of ancient civilization. Some sources liken these power centers to the chakras of the body.

The earth is a living organism. The ancient Chinese articulated an underlying energy they called chi (prana in Sanskrit). There are three different kids of chi. One circulates the atmosphere, one flows through the earth and one is in our bodies. We are a microcosm of the macrocosm.

The cosmic current is the energy force that includes all the scientifically described energies that interact to create magnetism and gravity. This current carries the specific vibrations from each planet and star. The signals are experienced as invisible rays of energy.

We receive or respond to higher or lower rates of energy or light through the extended body. In the nearly non-physical dimension of light, quantity of light is far less important than quality. And quality is dependent upon frequency, which we experience as color.

Color is light that is directed by the rays of a certain planet or star. Light as we know it has a vibrational rate, or wavelength. The range of this visible light is what we call the spectrum. Wavelengths of color longer than our range of vision are referred to as radio waves or infrared. Those shorter than our visual range are ultraviolet, x-ray or cosmic. We obtain information about the world around us through the sensory interpretation of light.

By understanding that the chakras, within the extended energy body, respond to the energy of the color rays directed by the energy currents of the universe, we can then understand how crystals and colored gemstones can be used to affect the energy in a specific chakra, thereby aiding health and well-being.

Prana…the “absolute energy” that fills the spaces between atoms

Quantum physics shows that what we perceive as solid matter is actually 99.9999% empty space filled with energy.  (If one atom of the physical body were the size of an apple, the closest atom next to it would be 2000 miles away.)

This brings us to the concept of prana, the energy that fills the spaces between atoms.

In Sanskrit, prana means “absolute energy”. It is the force that pervades all being, connecting all living things and all energy matter. In the Hindu concept, prana is made from sunlight and air. As it is drawn into the etheric body, the seven atoms that compose prana separate and each travels to the chakra it nourishes. The chakras draw prana or vitality into the extended body through the solar plexus chakra, which is the hub of a 10-spoked wheel, distributing the prana color rays.

As a hypnotherapist, I use the practice of pranayama by aiding my clients in the practice of focus on the breath. By taking deep, full breaths, the amount of air that enters and flows is increased. This very action stimulates the power of healing, balance and well-being by directing maximum prana to all the chakras, resulting in healing throughout the extended body.

When there is an excess or deficiency in prana flowing through a given chakra or throughout all energy centers, an imbalance occurs. It manifests in emotional discomfort or physical disease in an area and a form reflective of the chakra which is out of harmony. Healing takes place on all levels of the extended energy body before physical well-being manifests. Remember all matter is energy.

Crystal Power

Have you ever used the power of a crystal or gemstone? Actually, you are most likely using this power, maybe on a daily basis, and are unaware of it.

Do you wear a watch or have a wall clock at home? Do you wind it? Do you plug it in to electricity? Or is it powered by quartz, which synchronizes accurate time by vibration?

Do you listen to the radio? All radio transmitting uses quartz to communicate broadcast frequencies. You dial in to a particular vibrational frequency.

Have you taken a biology class where you were required to use a microscope? Have you experienced an ultrasound procedure? Both technologies use quartz crystal.

Have you had laser surgery to correct your eyesight? Quartz crystal is used to transmit and focus energy in all laser technology.

Have you gazed at the stars through a telescope? Quartz crystal is used to transmit whole spectrum light in optical lenses.

Do you use a credit card? Do you store information in your computer? Quartz crystal…silicon dioxide … is used for that purpose.

It is obvious that crystal has properties that allow it to store, transmit, transform, focus and amplify energy. Science has been using this technology for years by producing synthetic quartz crystals with the same atomic structures and properties as their natural counterparts.

Imagine the power of the energy available in the natural form, where each crystal system, obeying the Law of Attraction, gathers together those atoms which can vibrate together in unison and harmony, producing a form…a crystal… an aggregation of atoms.

When we send our intentions through the crystal, the vibration of that thought is amplified, bringing it nearer to physical manifestation. It is your thought energy, your mental body, which activates the power of crystals.

Quantum physics shows that what we perceive as solid matter is actually 99.9999% empty space filled with energy.  (If one atom of the physical body were the size of an apple, the closest atom next to it would be 2000 miles away.) By understanding that all matter is energy, it is easier to understand how people can interact with crystal.

The ancients may not have been aware of quantum physics, but they understood something about energy and color. They used crystals and gemstones to harness the cosmic forces. As we continue to do today, they adorned their bodies with stones.

The legends of quartz crystal as a healing tool are world wide, crossing every culture from Japan to North America, from Africa to ancient Rome.

The oldest legends and lore lead back to Lemuria and Atlantis. It is supposed that this advanced race used crystals to channel and control the cosmic current. Legends state that the survivors of Atlantis began anew and continued to perpetuate the knowledge of crystals in Egypt, South America and Tibet. They built pyramids using crystalline theories.

An Egyptian hieroglyphic papyrus more than 4000 years old described medical treatments using gemstones. Complete therapeutic manuscripts dated 1500 BC called “Papyrus Ebers” give detailed prescriptions using gems and minerals. The Egyptians were the first to use ground up gemstones such as malachite and lapis as a cosmetic.

A text derived from the Alexandrian School of Greece written by Theophrastus (372-286 BC) was quoted by the Roman historian Pliny (23-79 AD) in some of the earliest writings on the power of crystals.

The ancient Greeks regularly meditated by visualizing five three-dimensional, geometric shapes known as the Platonic Solids. They believed they could alter their consciousness and achieve mystical experiences. The five shapes – tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron – all occur naturally in crystals.

It is recorded in Exodus that a breastplate made of twelve precious jewels, (signifying the 12 tribes of Israel) combined specifically together in four rows, and worn over the heart, would endow the wearer with the power of God. It is recorded as being divinely inspired and having incredible spiritual powers.

Early works on astrology, written in Sanskrit and dating back as early as 400 BC, make elaborate observations on the origin and power of stones.

Incas and Mayans knew gemstone and crystal work. Native American Hopi shamans use crystals for diagnosis as well as treatment of disease, as do Cherokee, Apache, Navaho and other native peoples. They believe crystals are home to supernatural forces.

Chinese healers call quartz “the essence of the dragon”, the dragon being a symbol for the life force, the “chi”.

In every religion found on earth, jewels are mentioned as significant to esoteric mysteries. There are references made to precious stones in the Bible, the Talmud and the Koran.

We now know that we are beings of light and energy who are affected by the light and energy of the universe. The seen is dependent on the unseen.

The “Secret” Law of Conscious Creation

As civilized members of society, we are expected to follow the rules and abide by the laws. By doing so, we are able to enjoy and support that society. We learn about these rules throughout our lives. There are rules to follow at home, at school, at our place of worship and on the road. There are laws that govern all aspects of our lives. When we obey the laws and follow the rules, we enjoy the benefits. There are local laws, state laws, federal laws and international laws but there is no law that is more powerful than the Universal Law of Attraction.  Each one of us, whether we are aware of this law or not; each one of us, whether we consciously choose to be or not, are governed by this law. There are no exceptions.

The Law of Attraction states that whatever we are thinking about, we will attract into our life, whether we want it or not! We could almost call this law the Law of Creation, because what we are thinking about is what we are creating. What we are feeling about what we are thinking is how the creation process begins. Emotions help to create reality. When we believe in something, and when we love, desire, and want it, we create it more quickly. If there is anything we want to experience, we need to focus upon it. Whatever we turn our attention to, we will create.

As energy, every single thought directly and instantly influences the quantum field. Quantum physics has shown that everything in the Universe, in all dimensions of life and reality, ultimately is made up of “quanta”, of Energy, vibration. This Energy is integral to everything in existence. When something is observed, imagined, visualized… “quanta” come together to form sub-atomic particles, which in turn become atoms, then molecules until finally something manifests in the physical world. “Quanta” never, ever differentiate between what we want and what we don’t want. They merely respond to and obey our thoughts. Ask and it is given. No exceptions. Conscious creation is the basis of the Law of Attraction. Isn’t it interesting that the most effective way to consciously create something is to use the imagining powers of the subconscious Mind?

As human beings, all we do is create experiences. There is nothing else we do. In order to create an experience, we must first imagine it. As we focus on what we want, our thought energy (traveling at the speed of light!) has creative power. The subconscious mind accepts whatever we are imagining in our inner world and uses it to create our outer experience in reality.

The world of images is the source of power in our physical world. The images direct the Energy in our body. Imagining what we want is like creating a model before we build the real thing. We need to dream, but dreams are too big to realize all at once. Dreams come a size too large so we can grow into them. They must be broken down into manageable pieces. Pieces which can be created right Now. Always think as you wish things to be. Now.

And as you are thinking about what you want right Now, remember the Universe responds to absolute terms rather than any human concept. When you are dreaming, always be aware of a statement that implies the future tense and change it into the present tense. So, “I will” becomes “I am”… “I want” becomes “I have”… and “I might” becomes “I do”.

Also keep in mind that the Universe does not understand the concept of “try”. We either do something in the present Now or we do nothing. “Try” simply does not exist.

The Universe responds to Now. Everything is happening right Now. If you are remembering the past, you are doing it Now. If you are planning for the future, you are doing it Now. There is Only the Eternal Now.

Remember when you obey the laws, you enjoy the benefits. Thoughts are creative energy. Think only of what you want. Now. Be a Conscious Creator.

Hypnosis and Imagery are incredibly powerful tools to access the visionary power of your subconscious mind. When your mind is in the Alpha state, you are more creative and focused and better able to imagine your ideal way of being. As you imagine your ideal, you are emotionally connected to that image right Now. The process allows you to speak more clearly to the Universe, because whether you believe or not, it is listening to your every thought. Choose the good ones.

Align Your Thought Field

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) (see www.emofree.com) is an unconventional method which offers remarkable results. It can be used to release negative thoughts and emotions and reinforce positive affirmations and beliefs. You can let go of limiting beliefs that keep you from living the life you want. EFT can be used to focus and choose positive thoughts by affirming what you want. Since you are only able to process one emotion at a time, you must make a choice. EFT helps you to make that choice energetically.

EFT is a form of Energy Psychology, Meridian Therapy, or Thought Field Therapy. It is an obvious extension of Einstein’s discovery that ALL matter, including the human body, is composed of energy. When we experience a negative emotion or physical discomfort or pain, it is because there has been a disruption in our energy system. The thought energy affects the emotional energy which affects the physical energy. EFT works by tapping on a series of points on the body which correspond to acupuncture points in the energy meridian system. Tapping on the conduits between the energy body and the physical body releases blockages and limitations and enhances the well-being and functioning of the individual. EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture, except you stimulate the meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips. Tuning into a problem or a limiting belief can be done by simply thinking bout it. Thinking will bring about the energy disruptions involved which then …and only then… can be balanced by tapping the 9-Step Sequence.

To release negative emotions, rate each of the negative beliefs or experiences using a number scale from 1 to 10, giving each a rating about how bad it makes you feel – a subjective unit of discomfort (SUD). Take a deep breath, focus on your issue and create a set-up phrase, which identifies the problem.

“Even though I have …this problem… I deeply and completely accept myself.”

Examples of “this problem” may be something like:

“Even though my father told me I was lazy…”

“Even though I’ve failed before…”

“Even though I’m overweight…”

“Even though I’m unworthy…”

“Even though I’m really angry with my husband…”

Using two fingers begin by tapping on the first spot. Either tap on the thymus gland located at the center of the breastbone, or tap on the side of the hand at the karate chop point. While tapping, focus on your issue and breathe deeply. Do this while repeating the set-up phrase three times. It doesn’t matter if you tap on either your right or left side. Or you can use both hands while tapping through the 9-Step Sequence; tapping on both sides of the body at the same time.

Now, while saying “releasing this problem”…”don’t need this problem”…” letting go of this problem”, tap on the remaining spots of the 9-Step Sequence:

2. inner eyebrow

3. outer eyebrow

4. under eye

5. under nose

6. chin

7. collarbone

8. under arm

9. crown of head.

For a particularly intense issue, continue tapping on the outer side of the thumb, pointer, middle and little fingers, as well as the karate chop point on the side of the hand. Evaluate your SUD and continue the process until you have reached a level of comfort. You may also use the 9-Step Sequence to release any unwanted emotions at the time you are experiencing the feeling. It is not necessary to verbally express and identify the emotions…just tap. To reinforce and choose positive behaviors and affirmations, use the 9-Step Sequence to tap as you focus on your choices. For example, after you have “released anxiety” you can then “choose to be calm”. You can also choose confidence, focus, motivation, joy, freedom, empowerment or any other positive emotion. After you have written your affirmations, take a moment to tap through the 9-Step Sequence while you read and focus on your affirmation. Notice if you are energetically aligned with your desires. If not, take the opportunity to tap away any limitations.

There are many ways to fine tune the procedure. The set-up phrase, identifying the problem or formulating the affirmation or choice, is a very important factor. Please contact a Certified EFT Practitioner for assistance. Belief in the process is unnecessary. EFT is like gravity or electricity. It works whether you believe in it or not. In order to achieve results, you just have to do it. Persistently and consistently.

Do You Know Where Your Sushumna Is? And Why Should You Care?

Category: Energy Body,Health & Well-Being,Spiritual Explorationadmin @ 10:52 pm

The concept of the chakras (a Sanskrit word which translates as wheel or vortex) has been in existence since before recorded history. The chakras are points of energy transformation. They absorb, filter and distribute vitality to the Etheric Body as well as the Physical Body. The original seven chakras map logically onto the body through the nerve ganglia. Think of the chakras as cones or spirals, being tornado shaped. Visualize the wider end being a whirling concave disc and the point of the cone penetrating the spinal cord. Imagine that this cone extends from both the back and the front of the body.

The chakras extend through the body and are rooted in a central energy channel running up the subtle body (Etheric), which connects all the chakras. The chakras are all interdependent. If one energy center is shut down, the others will compensate in maintaining the life force. This central energy channel, which roughly corresponds to the spinal column, is called the sushumna.

Along the left side of the sushumna is a channel of feminine, or moon energy, called the ida, which is receptive in nature. To the right side of the sushumna is the pingala, a channel of masculine, more outward sun energy. The intertwining nadis meet at the Third Eye Chakra. Imagine the symbol of the allopathic medicine profession – the Caduceus of Hermes – two snakes intertwined around a central column ending at a winged center.

The chakras comprise various levels of awareness, activity and energetic charge. The lower chakras are magnetic energy, whereas the upper chakras are electrical energy. The lower three chakras, below the diaphragm, are feminine in that their function is specifically receptive, taking in energy from the earth and the environment. The upper four chakras are known as masculine chakras because they are concerned with giving energy out in the form of love, communication, healthy attitudes and inner reflection.

The chakras draw prana or vitality into the Extended Energy Body. Proper, focused breathing and meditation techniques cause increased amounts of prana to enter and flow and thereby, increase the power of healing, balance and well-being. In Sanskrit, prana means “absolute energy”. It is the force that pervades all being, connecting all living things and all energy matter. When there is an excess or deficiency in prana flowing through a given center or through all centers, an imbalance occurs which manifests in discomfort or disease in a form that depends on which chakra or chakras are out of harmony.

Balance is well-being. Disharmony is disease. The seen is dependent on the unseen. Earthly physical disease or health is affected by both mass and energy. Healing takes place on all levels of the Extended Energy Body before well-being on the physical earth plane manifests.

Your Thoughts Create Your Emotions~Your Extended Energy Body

Your Thoughts Create Your Emotions~
Your Emotions Create Your Physical Experience ~
An Introduction to Your Extended Energy Body

As a being, you are so much more than your physical body. Are you aware that your physical body is actually an outward expression of your thoughts? Our physical bodies are energetic maps. The body acts as a mirror for the higher mind, showing where there is balance or imbalance. Consider that your thoughts are directing your conscious decisions about how and what you eat, how active you choose to be and how you deal with stress. Each of these conscious actions can create a state of well-being, or a state of dis-ease.

The physical human body has other bodies surrounding it, each in its essence, vibration. As the bodies extend out from the core physical body, they become increasingly more fine in vibration. Even the densest matter is composed mostly of empty space. The body is actually 99+% void! If an atom in the body were the size of an apple, the next closest atom to it would be 1000-2000 miles away.

The Physical Body contains all our organic systems and is composed of gases, liquids and dense matter. It experiences life by the earthly senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. Consider the physical body as no more than a vehicle, a vessel, in which to travel. We need our physical body to live, but we are not our physical body.

The Etheric (health) Body projects about one quarter inch beyond the skin, usually no more than a foot. It is the thickest and densest of the subtle bodies. It is a perfect duplicate of the physical body. It distributes the universal life force (prana) through the chakras or energy centers. It acts as a two way bridge between the physical and the astral plane, between mass and energy. This subtle body is the nonphysical psychic body that is superimposed on our physical bodies. It exists within and around all living plants and animals and can be measured as an electromagnetic force field. The nadis and meridians, the nerve ending centers used in acupuncture and acupressure techniques, are located at this level.

The Astral (emotional) Body is a half to two-foot band that extends beyond the etheric double and is usually visible to those who can see auras. It is the vehicle of sensation and emotion and is made up of our desires. This is where energy gets blocked and imploded. Whenever you express an emotion you are using your astral body. Every feeling instantly affects this body and is reflected in it. Every thought that affects you personally is also reflected on this body. It connects the physical body to the mind and connects the conscious mental level above it to the etheric double below it.

The Mental (lower/intellectual and higher/intuitive) Body projects beyond the astral body and is also contained within the astral, etheric and physical body. It is composed of the lower (intellectual) and the higher (intuitive) aura bands. The difference between the layers is the difference between concrete and abstract thoughts. The lower mental body is the rational, thinking mind, whereas the higher mental body is the imaginative, superconscious mind. This body is constantly in motion, changing. Whenever you use your intellect, memory or visualization, you are using your mental body, Thoughts and attitudes are crucial to well-being and health.

The Spiritual Body, composed of three aura layers (the Monadic, the Godhead and the Divine) is felt in experiences of oneness and transcendence. In quantum theory, it is the spaces between atoms. Meditation and altered states of consciousness is the way to connect with this body.

Science agrees that more than 70% of all dis-ease is mind-related with no organic cause. As we understand more about the mind-body connection, we are better able to create health and well-being.

A Healthy Attitude of Gratitude

Category: Energy Body,Health & Well-Beingadmin @ 6:40 pm

If you think of something that makes you very, very happy… If you imagine sharing special moments with a loved one….If you bring to mind an exceptionally pleasant memory…

Do these thoughts create an emotion? Does the emotion bring a feeling into your body? Are you aware of a change in your physical sense of well being? Perhaps you’ve already begun to smile. Notice where you experience this feeling in your body.

As you become aware of this feeling and focus on it, you are in a state of gratitude. As you acknowledge your appreciation, every cell is reacting to your thoughts. Your positive emotions create this blissful feeling in your physical body. At that moment, you are in a state of conscious creation. At that moment, you are energetically aligned with your good thoughts. The Universe responds to your joy by bringing you more of the same.

As we enter the season of thankfulness, it is wise to spend time focusing on the positive experiences and the loving relationships in our lives. Now is the time to recognize and acknowledge the abundance in our daily lives. Now is the time to do that daily, moment by moment, not just once a year at Thanksgiving. Creation is an on-going process which is fueled and supported by gratitude.

Celebrate and harvest all that life has to offer. Allow yourself to take advantage of the bounty of everyday. Be conscious of your thoughts. Choose the good ones. And be glad! Your body will thank you for it!
