numbers

You are never too young or too old to begin. Success is not a number. Mozart was competent on keyboard and violin and began composing at the age of 5. Elvis was a superstar by age 19. Albert Einstein was just 26 when he wrote the Theory of Relativity. At 34, Martin Luther King wrote “I Have a Dream”. Neil Armstrong was 38 when he landed on the moon. When he became President of the United States, John F. Kennedy was 43. Da Vinci was 51 when he painted the Mona Lisa. Grandma Moses began painting at the age of 78. Artist Beatrice Wood continued working in her studio until the age of 104.

So, what are you waiting for? It’s never too soon! It’s never too late! Life is happening right now. And there will never be a time when it is not now. Goethe tells us, “Whatever you do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.” Are you experiencing magic in your life? Do you feel bold and powerful? If not, why not? You are an amazing being capable of incredible accomplishments. I know this. Do you?

Each one of us has a responsibility to be our best self. We are dreamers and we are also the dream. It is up to the individual to make the dream a reality. It doesn’t matter how old you are. You can make a difference in your own life; in the life of another; or even in the lives of everyone on the planet. Consider Steve Jobs. It doesn’t matter how old you are unless you tell yourself it matters. If you didn’t know how old you are, how old would you be? And would it matter?

What would you like to accomplish? We all have dreams about what if. Some of us tell ourselves that it’s not possible. Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough. Some of us tell ourselves that we can make it possible. Even though we don’t have enough time or enough money, we know that we are enough. I think that’s what makes the difference in which dreams become reality. It comes down to a belief in yourself and your ability to do what you truly want to do. Your subconscious mind will make the impossible possible…if you believe.

I invite you to consider what you would like to do with your own personal magic. Give yourself permission to dream and know that whatever it is you want to accomplish…you are enough. You have enough or you wouldn’t have the dream. We each get a dream which is custom-made to take advantage of all of our skills, gifts, talents and abilities. It’s a perfect match. And it happens at just the right time. And just the right age.
